The megalok fittings, a result of our search for perfection and a better service,tries to provide an information as complete as possible and to enlargen our product range covering the most essential needs. It is the result of our beging in the lead in the very wide fitting production.

Are made in three types of materials: 316 stainless steel, carbon steel and brass. In the plastic tubing systems, the ferrules will be in nylon for the brass fittings and in PTFE for the stainless steel fittings. On request, they can be manufactured in more materials (see special materials catalog).
Are delivered pickled and pasivated and in carbon steel are delivered with a phosphate treatment.
The tube, us have a smooth surface finish, without flute so as to achieve a perfect coupling of both ferrules.
TUBE, in inches from 1/8 OD to 1" OD. PIPE, in milimeters from 4 mm to 25 mm. Mixed adapters to connect gaz pipes from 1/8" to 1/2" with milimetric tube.
They are formed bu a body with a seat for tubing, two compression ferrules and one lock nut. The hermetical union of the tube to the fitting body is made by means of the 2 ferrules pressure upon the tube when pressed by the nut. The function of the front ferrule is the sealing and the back ferrule also fixes the tubing to the fitting. Thanks to its special design, the variety of materials in which it can be produced and also its connections, it can be used in a large number of applications.
Applications: In vacuum, low and middle pressure, specially apropiate to high pressures, or when hard is needed; In the food industry and laboratories; Resistent to corrosive acids; Can be used in hydraulic and gaz systems; Suitable for stainless steel, cooper and plastic tubes, etc.; Can be used in high temperatures and for criogenic uses; Vibration resistant; Pipe threads connections, NPT ANSI/ASME B1.20.1, BSPT-ISO 7R, BSP-ISO 228 and optionally in DIN 3852 BSP/METRIC.
